Castle Renovation
The castle is dated at the beginning of the 16 century. Over the time it was changed, parts were added. Today the structure is still in a good condition, but the roof needs urgently to be renewed. We proposed the design for a complete renovation, by preserving the whole building and maintaining it in its current form.
The building has different facades, all extraordinary, and they make the object so unique.
The internal disposition of the castle needs some adjustments, mostly because many walls where added over time. We designed the removal of not needed separation elements, with the aim to convert the castle in a beautiful living structure.
The castle right now is situated on a lower part of the site. We proposed to create a platform around the building to accentuate his value as a castle. It gives the whole structure a more representative character. That’s the only major external intervention to be set up for the renovation. The castle for itself will stay untouched in its appearance.
